A note about data representation:
When searching for a gene, PheWeb displays the top associated variants not only within the gene, but within a +- 1Mb radius. Therefore, the top variant displayed might not actually be located in the queried gene itself. One example is the search for "PKD2", where the top variant rs2231156 associated with Gout at p < 1e-320 is located in the adjacent ABCG2 gene.
